Sunset at Han River

After Namsan Tower, we took a taxi down to Han river. I felt like I was on a Korean drama location hunt. Too many Korean soaps and movies were shot here so I knew I had to see it for myself. It was starting to get dark and we got stuck in traffic! 

I was panicking...ok freaking out a little because I wanted to see it before it's completely dark outside. Luckily, we escaped the traffic just in time to watch the sunset at Han river. It felt surreal being there but I loved it! I was trying to remember the soaps I watched with dramatic scenes here, haha. 

Osaka sunset & outlet mall shopping

We spent our last full day at an airport hotel in Osaka. We were leaving the next day for Seoul so we packed our bags and stayed near the Kansai airport. We had nothing to do all afternoon so we decided to go to the Rinku outlet mall. We took the train and got lost a little looking for the mall. We walked around the mall a couple of times but it felt like we were back in North America shopping. It was a mixture of Japanese brands and International one's but the prices were pretty steep. I just bought a skirt and a toque before leaving the mall.

The outlet mall was very close to the waterfront. We walked around the waterfront and we witnessed a very dramatic sunset. It was the best way to end our Japan trip!

P.S. I had the best experience when leaving Osaka airport en route to Seoul, Korea. I was lining up for security check and I was taking off my boots when the airport security guy handed me slippers. He was very quick and I was so stunned that they give you SLIPPERS! No one does that ever! I usually walk around barefoot (eww!) when I go through checks when I wear sandals or with my socks on.  It was amazing!

Mexican sunset

Our resort was expansive and there were a lot of places to explore. I loved that we had a lot of space to roam around in. 

Just before going to dinner, we decided to walk around to try to catch the sunset. We walked and walked until we discovered a cliff. It was a little scary to walk on a very small piece of land. I was mildly freaking out so I walked very slowly and watched my step so I don't plunge down the cliff.

The view and sunset more than compensated for my fear. Not to mention the seeing the tallest cactus ever!! It was beautiful!

Costa Rican sunset

Our first day in Quepos was marked by this amazing sunset. Watching it from the beach was phenomenal. I couldn't have wish for a more special day. 

Pink Sunset

I miss witnessing dramatic sunsets. It's what I like about summer because the sky becomes every shade of the rainbow. Now that it's winter and it's practically pitched dark before 5pm. I can no longer enjoy my favourite "little things in life". I have to settle to looking at photos from my vacations.

I knew that I wanted to be outside a lot when I went to Cuba. I wanted to savour the last week of good weather before coming back to Canada and going through another winter.

Taking a walk on the beach and witnessing this amazing sunset was really special. I am always in awe how nature paints the sky and how the ocean can be so powerful. I'm not religious but this makes me believe of the higher power.

A beautiful sunset in Phuket
