Festive Season

December 28, 2011

Christmas for me this year was everything I wanted it to be. I spent a lot of time with my family eating and relaxing. Nothing could be better than that and it was truly a blessing!

Here are some pictures from my holiday weekend. Hope everyone had a good Christmas!

Happy Holidays!!!

December 23, 2011

Wishing you all a very Happy Holidays and a fantastic New Year!!!!!

I am so excited to be off from work this weekend. I have 3 days off of family and friends time. It's going to be busy but amazing as I have a lot of eating to do and catching up.

Have a safe holiday season!

Christmas Market

December 13, 2011

This past weekend, I finally had free time to visit the Distillery District Christmas market. I was surprised to see so many people on a cold Sunday afternoon but I guess we all had the same idea of keeping warm by drinking mulled wine while walking around the historic district.

I thoroughly enjoyed sampling different foods like German sausages, pretzels, and schnitzel. The entire venue was well decorated with lights, wreath, and of course with a giant Christmas tree. They even had a concert. I really hope they have this event again next year.

Apple picking

November 28, 2011

I spent my Canadian Thanksgiving back in October apple picking. It was unusually warm and sunny that day so the farm was packed with families trying to savour the fantastic weather.

Hiatus

November 22, 2011

I'm so sorry for the long hiatus. I have been so busy in between recuperating from various illnesses and moving! I haven't traveled anywhere far (Pittsburgh doesn't count!) but I'm hoping to go somewhere warm in January. Until then, I will try to post more often.

Bluffers

September 11, 2011

I spent Saturday morning walking around Bluffers Park with one of my bff's. After having breakfast, we walked around the park and saw this stunning view. No one was else was there and it was a perfect morning with a slight cold breeze signalling fall is about to come to us.

As much as I hate the cold, I can't wait to start wearing sweaters again and taking long walks when the trees starts changing colours!
